Native Californian Ashley Colburn, is a two-time Emmy award-winning producer, host and travel expert with an insatiable hunger for travel. Recently, Ashley spent a majority of her European summer filming amongst the gorgeous Croatian shores. Unable to resist the charm of Croatia’s beauty, culture and allure, Ashley returned to the place where her first travel show ‘WOW Croatia’was filmed to work on her upcoming documentary, which is also centred on the amazing European hot spot that is Croatia. Her latest documentary focuses on the major attractions of Croatia and further explores the country in ways she had strongly desired to, but had not previously been able to. Whilst drinking up the sunshine and sailing upon the gorgeous, crystal-clear waters at what is considered to be ‘the gateway to Europe’ she teamed up with Sailing HR -the experts in Croatia Sailing holidays- and filmed their latest testimonial video (which can be viewed below), capturing the epic experience of Yacht Week participants from all around the globe, including her own personal experience. Makes you want to go to yacht week 2015!

Established in 2009, Sailing HR has provided the ultimate sailing getaway for people around the world, specialising in mind-blowing party scenes -ranging from more intimate gatherings to massive celebrations- and the opportunity to mingle with party-goers from all over the globe. In seven days, with 120 boats (including luxury yachts) and over 1000 people; the enthusiastic, youthful team at Sailing HR expertly combine the unforgettable experiences of partying and sailing whilst discovering the unmatchable beauty of the Croatian coast; all tailored to suit individual preferences. The Yacht Week experience runs from the 13th of June through to the 12th of September -with ‘sail to ultra route’options running from the 4th of July to the 18th of July- during the peak moments of Europe’s golden summer. Each day,  Yacht Week participants experience a change of scenery, depending on their choice of route. The ‘Split Route’as the title suggests, starts and ends at Split, one of the oldest cities in the area and also the largest in the region of Dalmatia, positioned to the east of the Adriatic sea and encompassing the Roman Palace of Emperor Diocletian. The second stop is Hvar, the ‘queen’of Croatian Dalmatian Islands, renown for its attractive Mediterranean nature and musical festival and nightlife scene, Hvar is considered one of the top most beautiful islands in the entire world. Pakleni Otoci (Hell’s Island), Vis (the most ‘protruding’island, historically and currently known for agriculture and fishing), Komiza (packed with historical and cultural attractions and large pebble beaches, and one of the top ten most environmentally preserved islands in the Mediterranean  according to WOEP),  Otok (long island) and Brac (island of nature and beauty) comprise the other phenomenal island stops during the sailing adventure.
